Friends of blufondam, this's a very sad notice!
As we usher in a new Easter on Earth, I would like to extend my heartfelt wishes for a joyful and prosperous year ahead to each and every one of you. Your dedication and commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our communities do not go unnoticed, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
In light of your invaluable service, it is imperative that we prioritize your safety and well-being, ensuring that you return home safely to your families at the end of each working day. Like any other public workers, you deserve to come back home safe, full of joy, and in good health.
To achieve this, I believe it is crucial to address the speed of vehicles on public roads. It is my opinion that all motorized vehicles in the United Kingdom should adhere to the legally approved speed limit, generally a maximum of 70 mph. This would mean that no vehicle should be capable of accelerating from zero to 200 mph when leaving any stand, except for Security Forces and Sports vehicles which may be exempt from this restriction.
I first expressed this opinion around eight years ago, and I continue to stand by it today. By enforcing these speed limitations, we can significantly reduce the risk of accidents and enhance the safety of our streets, ultimately protecting the lives of our security forces.
Let us work together to implement these changes and create a safer environment for all - including the "Street Gangs". Your safety is our priority, and we are committed to ensuring that you can fulfil your duties without unnecessary risks.
